Sorata Foundation is a non-profit corporation founded in 2006 with full 501 (c) (3) status operating in the state of California. Sorata’s mission is “to support organizations dedicated to providing services and living facilities to children with developmental disabilities in underdeveloped countries.”
Our focus is to help fund institutions dedicated to the well being of these children in countries where developmental disabilities are not properly addressed given the lack of programs and resources. The name Sorata comes from a town on Bolivia located at the foothills of Illampu, one of the tallest peaks in the Andes.
